Hi, I am getting this error:
java.lang.RuntimeException: javax.naming.NamingException: Could not dereference object [Root exception is javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: EmpFacade.empFacadeRemoteHome (no security manager: RMI class loader disabled)]]

can somebody tell me what is wrong please? I'm using Netbeans 5.0 beta 2 with SQL server 2000 plus jTDS as the driver. On the same machine I'm using MySQL as well, this error occurs after I use one jboss pointing to sql server and MySQL.

Vivien,
This looks like a JNDI lookup problem. Could you please post the following:
1) Your code that gets the InitialContext and does EJB lookup.
2) The pertinent sections of ejb-jar.xml and (if applicable) jboss.xml.
3) If applicable, the pertinent sections of web.xml and jboss-web.xml.

Are you looking up the EJB from outside the container (an external client) or from inside the container (a Servlet or an EJB)?

Please let me know. Once I can see more, this should be pretty easy to fix.

Hi Tom,
Sorry I have deleted both applications When I treid to create a 3rd application the same error pops up so I have to uninstall and reinstall NetBeans. Really sorry, maybe next time I try do with different databases again.

By the way, how to enable mapping to different databases using the same JBoss server? coz I thought everytime you need to change the default datasource tags over and over again when using with different ones?

-best regards, vivien siu. JBoss newbie
