I am programatically trying to login to app which uses JBOSS databaseserverloginmodule.
Following is the code:

PostMethod formPost = new PostMethod("http://localhost:8080/contextroot/j_security_check");
formPost.addRequestHeader("Referer", "http://localhost:8080/contextroot/myPage.do");
formPost.addParameter("j_username", "username");
formPost.addParameter("j_password", "password");

responseCode = httpConn.executeMethod(formPost.getHostConfiguration(),formPost);

String res = formPost.getStatusText();

but res above gets 408 http status which means request time out error.
Any clues how to handle this??
