Hi

I have a basic doubt regarding the tomcat and Jboss.

Tomcat is only a web server , Jboss is web server and app server ,that can build jsps, servlets and also ejb files.

Is this the only difference or there many more to this.
Please clarify.

Thanks
Vinay

In its simplest form.

Yes there are a bunch more services that JBoss AS gives you, as a matter of fact, in order to serve JSP and Servlets JBoss has Tomcat. But there are Web Services, Java Messaging, AOP, and more.
