Salary: 65,000 - 90,000/year
Seeking an experienced Java Developer to work at a major financial institution in uptown Charlotte.
Project Description:
Development of Enterprise capable Java business components to be used in daily banking business activities.
Required skills:
Required experience should emphasize application design, development, implementation and support of distributed object computing. Java language profieiencies should include thread and process management techniques, memory management techniques, exception handling. Must have a solid command of object oriented development and design methodologies and an in-depth understanding of CORBA. Should have solid EJB foundation. A strong background in transaction processing, relational database, session/workload/systems management is desired. Operating systems exposure should include IMS, DB2, CICS, and NT. MQ, OS390, VAJ and/or Component Broker experience are a real plus. Focus on designing and developing reusable server side softward components to integrate distributed applications. The role will include technical leadership in defining an EJB development approach and mentoring other technical staff in Java object development. Qualified candidates should have extensive Java experience, an in-depth understanding of CORBA architecture and services, applied application of object oriented analysis and design, developing and implementing multi-tier architectures and developing component based software.
