During the development phase, Senior Java Engineers act as development leads,

is concerned with the detail implementations that ultimately determine the
robustness and performance of the site.
Senior Java Engineers must have excellent general knowledge of many
server side technologies, but will be encouraged to work on projects that
deepen their knowledge in a particular area.
