Job Description:
Lead a team to design and develop technologies and related application components to provide CandleNet solutions that implement sophisticated content distribution of Web applications to improve end-user response time over the internet. The candidate must possess strong skills in architectural design, Web development, and business application development. S/he must be able to lead sr. developers of different background and personality as well as technologies. In addition, s/he must have been involved in the deployment of business applications and packaged software product in a large-scale environment on a private network or over the internet.
Required Skills & Technical Environment:
5 years C++
2 years Java
Software development life cycle, from requirement gathering to implementation in an Object oriented development environment.
Client/Server architecture in an event-based, multi-threaded environment.
GUI design and development in a browser-enabled environment.
Web Server technologies C/C++, Java, HTML, XML, CGI, JavaScript Windows NT development in a distributed system environment
Preferred Knowledge:
Other high-level language such as VB, PowerBuilder and the like
Experience with application servers, and web servers
Strong knowledge of web development, issues, and design
Team Lead experience and strong Communication Skills
