GUI Programming
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
One to three years experience developing Graphic User Interface applications with emphasis on Java/Swing. Strong GUI development experience on other platforms is acceptable. Must be able to interface applications with internal GUI support programming layers. Experience with advanced GUI components required.
Good object design skills are required. Experience with
Java is valuable but a strong background in C++ with a desire to learn and use Java will be considered.
Experience or knowledge of the Java Server environment,
EJB, JMS, JNDI; the CORBA and C++ environment; or the COM, DCOM environment is desirable. In addition, an understanding of issues related to distributed computing,
thread programming, and synchronization issues are important.
Excellent written and verbal skills are essential.
