Hi All!
I am very very depressed! A couple of hours back I appeared in the test and scored just 63%.
Ironically i have obtained 100% a number of times in the Pre Test and I think i understand most of the objectives.
Ne way,
Plz tell me what should i do now!
Can ne body suggest when should I appear in the test next ?
All Suggestions are Welcome!

Sorry to hear that Asif. There's always another time. Like you, I've been getting 80's and 90's in the ICE sample exams. I think I've managed to memorize the answers. The problem is that the real exam has the questions stated differently.
Perhaps what we need to do is to write down the right answers in index cards and learn the principles behind them. I think you're so close to the passing mark you should take it again soon - say within the next three weeks.
I think Steve's tips make sense: http://www.javaranch.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/000548.html

Hey Asif,
That is really bad news!
From the time I didn't manage to score high in OOAD with UML, I started to think scoring is just one aspect. My score never did any justice with the knowledge that I had acquired. The more important thing is whether you have understood the test objectives that were covered in the test. And still more important is how well you can apply these concepts in real-time situations.
If you have gained any of the above in your quest to study for the Test, you shouldn't feel depressed. As for passing this test (for the sake of records or academic value!), give it another shot in 3 week time from now and you are bound to be through with it.
Cheer up,
Sandeep

Hi Asif
If you have time after reading Larman and Fowler (again twice), reading chapter 2 of Design Patterns by GoF help you to apply design decisions.
I hope this time u score high.
Best of luck(b/c it counts)
