A Use Case is a single thing a user might want to do with the system from the viewpoint of the user (for example a use case for this forum could be called "post a reply to a thread"). It is used to identify the scope of a system, obviously most often at the beginning of a project. http://www.objectmentor.com/resources/articles/Use_Cases_UFJP.pdf is a very good introduction http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?UseCases has some interesting discussions on the subject. The soul is dyed the color of its thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you do is who you become. Your integrity is your destiny - it is the light that guides your way. - Heraclitus
