HI all
i am very much new to this uml forum.
am planning for uml exam.
is IBM only providing this exam or also MS?
i wanted to know the prescribed books for UML exams and how many days it will typically take to appear for the exam.

Hi Senthil,
The OMG (standards body governing UML) has announced a 3 step UML certification. It is in beta at the moment.

The one provided by IBM is about UML being used in the context of ObjectOriented Analysis and Design. I guess the one by OMG is purely about the UML notation details and the related semantics.
