Do you have any idea how to use J2ME to do some programming for HP Jornada 540, 560 series? The task will be creat a conduit and sync PDA database.
I checked out personaljava website. It said the current version havn't been totally tested under Windows CE 3.0.

We have a course project - backup/restore utility. The information exchange between the GUI and librarian uses XML file. I used the SAX API to read and write XML file. The parser used in the program is xerces v1.4.3. And the test under NT is finished. Since I know little about the unix. So my question is can I just specify the classpath of the xerces.jar(the one I used under NT)? or is there a xerces parser specificly for unix environment?

I just plan to step into the SCJD. But from the RHE book page 690, "the upload should be done at the same location from which the candidate initiated the download."
But I will graduate this summer. I am afraid I can't finish it in two month. And I have called 800-422-8020, their answer is yes. And also they suggested me send email to who2contact@central.sun.com. I haven't gotten the answer yet.
Hopefully, I can upload from different systems.
Any one has met that condition before?

I have followed the steps to install the application jps 1.1.1.
But when I run it at the localhost, when I choose each of the item such as dog,fish..., It still be blank, don't show the detail of each item.
So could you tell me how to fixes this problem?

I just planned to do the RHE mock exam last night before the test. I am too tired yesterday night and also because my test time is 9:45am this morning, so I went to bed 0:15am. (No kidding, normally I will go to bed no early than 1:30am.)
I got up at 8:08am and called the test center to confirm the registration. By then, they were downloading the information.
I arrived here at 9:20am and took the test 9:30am.

Actually,I decided to learn JAVA this January. First I planned to learn Servelts and JSPs. I learned them the whole Feb. But during the study, I found some of the concepts are not very clear and can't find it from the context. Then I realized I need to set it aside and make me familiar with the foundamentals. So by the end of Feb, I made another decision to learn the foundamentals by preparing the SCJP2.
To be honest, 3 weeks is really a little tight to get through. I didn't even have the time to do the mock exam provided by the RHE.

I cleared it this morning. The questions are not difficult. What you need to know is understand the principles in RHE well. Also need to do some mock exams. Actually I don't have enough time to do many of they.
I have prepared it nearly 3 weeks. The time I got the RHE book is at March 2nd.
