Hi all,
The question is regarding final keyword with StringBuffer context. As per Java rule when we declare constants with final keyword we can't change the value of the variable once it's initialized, but incase of StringBuffer why it is not so?? I mean When I say
final StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer();
sb.append("abc");
sb.append("xyz");
..why jvm doesn't complain as variable is declared final???..

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all,
My question is regarding ArrayList sorting. Assume I have Employee object with two attributes 1.empName 2.empSalary. I have added 100 Employee objects in a Arraylist. Now I want to sort the arraylist according to empName. How would I achieve this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all,
I have the following task to do, any help on this would be appreciated.
i have one database table which contains three columns like ID,formfieldname,formfieldvalue. All the records(rows)

are created dynamically by using comma separated value file(csv file) which contains same

stuff(i.e.ID,formfieldname,formfieldvalue). Now i want to write a jsp in such a way that, that jsp will check the csv file

and its contents and will check with database table, if csv file is changed by user and that corresponding record(table row

like ID,formfieldname,formfieldvalue) is not available/doesn't match with table then it should show some appropriate alert

message.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks in advance

Hi Ajith,
Thanx for reply...one more thing...consider that I am using Collection objects, iterating the same without removing any elements from it. In such case which will be good option, for loop or Iterator?

Thanx in advance,
