Hi All,
I just have to enhanance, which one provide better functionality and features. Came through few good points, and just want to discuss the same to get some more new comparison between the two implementations of JSF.
So, can any one please help me with some of major drawbacks and advantages with regards to the varous components provided my both.
Eg: Tomahawk does not provides pop-up, its more like enhanced tool tip
Whereas RichFaces provides pop-up with application model, which i think is very good feature.
So, in the same way can anyone help me with more comparisons.

Any effort is appriciated.

Thanks

Hi All,
I am having a login page, with two fields, username and password and if the "remember me on this computer" check box is checked, i want to remember the credentials on the next login, for this i am able to do by creating cookies.
But now the problem is when next time when the user unchecks the "remember me on this computer" checkbox, the existing cookies should be removed, but i am not able to do this.
Please could any one help me with this.

Thanks in advance..

I was just looking for a session timed out message to be displayed on the login page itself, when the session is invalidated or expired and the user is redirected to the login page.

Hi,
I am using a filter whcih checks each time if the session is existing or not and at the time of login if there is no session, creates new session.
But now my issue is, when i am in the mid of application and somehow session expires, it should redirect to the Login page with the message - "Session expired". I am redirecting it to the login page, but how do i display session expired message for that.
Please help.
Thanks,

Hi,
I have a scnerio in which when i click on logout button on any page, it should take me to the login page with a message -"You successfully logged out".
What i did for this is, in my managed bean, for logout method i added :

facesContext.addMessage("loginform:logoutMessage", new FacesMessage("Logged Out"));

where loginform is form id.

And in the JSF page i added:
<t:message for="logoutMessage" style="color: red"/>

But still i am unable to display the message at the time of logout, can anyone please check if i am going fine.

thanks,
