Thank you for your response.

I dont need any big support. I just want to copy paste some other language characters into my jsp pages. but when I do that they all end up as ?

I think that might be the issue with my windowsXP as it uses ANSI Latin 1 character sets. I was just looking to see if there are some settings I can change in coldfusion studio that allows me to paste other language characters.

Regards,
Sunitha.
Hi All,

we are using ColdFusion Studion as an IDE. For Internationalization application I am having problem in entering other language characters.
I did not find any patch for multilingual support for ColdFusion Studio.

I decided to go and try with Eclipse. does it have multilingual support?
please let me know if any one of you have information on it.

Thanks.

Sunitha.

Hi All,

Is there a way to capture clicking of browsers stop button in javascript.

I have seen the onAbort event handler which can be used to execute javascript when the user aborts the loading of an image by clicking stop button.I am looking for something other than that.

Thank you.

sunitha.
It is always necessary to check that the value is not null before calling a method on it.

Instead of
if(request.getParameter("N1").equalsIgnoreCase("ADD"))
its better this way
if(request.getParameter("N1")!=null && request.getParameter("N1").equalsIgnoreCase("ADD"))

that would avoid a Nullpointer Exception.

Hi Wagner,
Thank you for your response.I seem to understand it, but I may feel the difference when I really work on a hibernate project.

After I posted this I found a very well written Return on Investment article on hibernate.This is the URl.

Hi,
In what kind of applications should we use hibernate.Could someone tell me its advantages.
I noticed in hibernate for each table in the database we need to have a an xml file and a Java POJO.Is it not an overhead?
I feel using JDBC to query the database more comfortable.But I might be missing something about it.I am new to J2ee technologies and have come up with this doubt when started learning hibernate.
Thanks in advance.
