I needed some information about how to design a good Html Paging mechanism using AJAX technologies. We have a report which renders a huge result and to execute the report it takes a lot of time. Now I wanted to know how to make this process better using AJAX. What I have understood is that using we can asynchronously communicate with the server(ours is a J2EE project). The user does not have to wait for the whole report to execute. He starts seeing some data and in the client browser the AJAX engine is busy asynchronously fetching data from the server. Can anyone give some ideas of existing technologies or frameworks available?
