Cannot find message resources under key org.apache.struts.action.MESSAGE

The property file location is as follows:

/WEB-INF/classes/application/ApplicationResources.properties

The Web.xml contains

<!-- Resources bundle base class -->

<init-param>

<param-name>application</param-name>

<param-value>application.ApplicationResources</param-value>

</init-param>

The struts-config contains:
<message-resources parameter="application.ApplicationResources"/>

Still I am getting this error. I am new to Struts..could you please help me in solving this issue.

Exactly Liz..Thats what iam wondering..when u call obj.getClass() it returns class A..That means it obj.getClass().getNames() seems to be similar to A.getNames().
If obj.getClass() returns a string then what Ernest said was right. But i think obj.getClass() does not return a string.

Hi all,
I have a query on the following program

class A{
public static void getNames()
{
System.out.println("inside getname..");
}

}
public class B{
public static void main(String args[])
{
Object obj = new A();
//obj.getClass().getName().getNames(); <-- this st not working
A.getNames();

}
}
This code works..But in the class B when i call the A.getNames() that prints the result.But when we call obj.getClass().getName().getNames(); it throws error. though when we print the obj.getClass().getName() it shows the class A!!! what is the reason for this error?

Just be more clear whether u r gonna do that using struts or just using JSP and servlets etc.. normally for the presentation we use the JSP.

Hi all,
I have a problem related to the Daylight saving. It is a code which executes at a particular time say 12.30 CET every week. Normally the daylight start in Netherland in October last sunday. for eg: take the case like this:
The Daylight saving starts on 29th of Oct'05. This part of the code executes every week at 12.30 CEST or CET(Even if it is daylight saving it excecutes at 12.30) normaly. On 26th it has executed successfully on at 12.30 CEST. So the next execution time is next week i.e 2nd Nov'05. I monitor the next execution time every day and i keep track of the time every day till the next execution.

Here the real problem starts:
After the 26th oct execution at 12.30 CEST...The monitor for the next execution shows that the next execution time as 13.30 CET which is wrong.It has to be normally 12.30 CEt even if it is the Daylight. And the beauty is again on the 30th Oct'05 it again changes the execution time one hour ahead to 14.30 CET and it executes at 14.30 CET on 2nd NOV..again the beauty is..after the execution on 2nd NOV at 14.30 it again changes the time to 12.30 for next execution.
I use GregorianCalendar...please help me to solve the problem logically. Is there any problem with the Gregorian Calendar in java?

Hi Zakir,
Before the execution the JVM should know where exactly the class file is existing. The compilation is not a problem. So to execute the compiled file which is in the bin u have to give C:\JDK..\bin> set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;.; which is nothing but pointing the JVM that the class exist in the bin. then execute..it works

Hi,
JRE contains all the executables and files which are needed for the java to run..JVM is the virtual machine which actully executes the compiled java file which is in the bytecode format and that is why java is platform independent. JVM is inside the JRE.
