POSITION SUMMARY
Work as part of the core team building the asset management and publishing technologies for some of the biggest websites in the world.
Responsibilities include design, implementation and maintenance of client and server based applications, code development, creation of project plan estimates, and production of detailed design documentation. Development environment requires adherence to engineering QA practices including configuration management, source control, unit testing, integration testing, and documentation of code.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
�BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
�7 or more years experience in software development.
�Uses skills as a seasoned experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices & company policies & procedures. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative and as well as practical ways.
�Have wide ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
�Work on complex issues where analysis of situation or data requires an in depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
�Experience with Java technologies, XML, object-oriented analysis and design.
�Content Management and Publishing experience a plus

�Experience with writing functional and technical specifications
�Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
�Proficient in use of scripting and utility tools such as ANT, Perl, etc

�Proficient in web scripting languages such as HTML/css, XML, php and JSP
�Experience with networking technologies and system/application debugging

As the field engineer for the team, you will be the primary point of contact for engineers and producers working on ESPN.com, ABC.com, Disney.com and more. As such, you will answer support calls, travel to Disney offices around the country and help our clients install and upgrade our systems, troubleshoot existing installs, evangelize and give product demos.

You must be a high energy technically adept person who is truly interested in solving problems.

25% travel is required.
QUALIFICATIONS

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Digital Rights Management (DRM) team you will be developing and maintaining systems and applications in support of Disney�s various online premium content services. The DRM platform includes content packaging and licensing systems, administration interfaces for licensing and business rules management, and content delivery client components. Reporting to the engineering manager of the DRM Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending existing products as well as designing and developing new products. You will work as part of a small to medium size development team, and will be responsible for supporting all stages of the software development lifecycle.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5-7 years minimum experience in software development.
