everything goes hand on hand. when things were good and companies were making profit we were also expecting good hike. Attrition rate was also high that time and companies had to offer competative packages/facilities because they knew if they dont do this they wont get good resources.

Now market is not good, ratio of number of job to ppl is more & attrition is going down....they wont think of holding employees but holding profit.

EAI market is good...but wrk is not challenging. So if you need less work and more money...you may move to EAI...but I would prefer to stick to Java/J2EE.

as much as I know, they havent released it for development. but features are good and writing a code is also simpler. As Java had started revolution in platform independent code....JavaFx may start another revolution mainly in UI side....in which you can write once and run on any device....which will save development time n cost.

But they have competitor too....like flex.

Salary vary from 5K to 7K. So salary should depend on your current package in india.

Ofcourse there are few certification in finance domain. You can check out of certifications from NSE/BSE. I dont have much info abt it but few of my colleagues have done it.

Otherwise you can start reading any financial A/c booking, you will get to know basics of Finance domain.

Are you talking abt Hyd based gaming company? One of my frd was wrking in gaming domain & was paid higher than market rate, but when gaming market went down (as its highly volatile n depends on lots of fators) he was sacked.

I will suggest you to go for Telecom domain.

such kind of ppl wont listen to you unless they need you. And once they get feeling that now you need them, they will start tolerating you.
