The National News channel here in India showed a news item.
In Pakistan, if you go to any normal Music/CD shop, you can buy CDs of Osama Bin Laden.These contain videos of how young Muslims are trained to become terrorists (Holy Warriors, they are called) and how Bin Laden interprets Islam. The CDs also reportedly contain his speeches and all.
Need any more proof that Pakistan is a major supporter of Islamic fundamentalism ?

What you say is correct.Unfortunately, the people
who claim to "know" islam are the ones who dont know
these tenets. Or they probably are insane enough to
interpret them in their own way.
A religion in iteself is never bad.It is the followers
of a religion who bring it goodness or badness.
What is taught in the Madarsas (Islamic schools)is very very different from the tenets you have mentioned.Small children are taught the terrorist version of these tenets and that is why the islamic poeple are becoming more an more violent as a religion itself.
It is time, the true leaders of this religion stand up and stop all the malpractises before the entire religion gets wiped out.

It is in all correctness that the US fight back.
It is high time all the nations of the world who are
victims of this religious "holy"(as they call it) war
get together and eliminate the roots of these people.
We in India have witnessed very similar events and the process
is continous.We have seen our National Pride, the Red Fort in New Delhi being attacked.We have lost Prime Ministers and only-God-knows-how-many innocent citizens and security force poeple
in this senseless Islamic war.
It is time the US joins hands with countries like India and
carry out a very comprehensive operation to eliminate these terrorists completely.Let it be a well-planned and comprehensive operation, once and for all.

Leena,
your message announcing your Certification will definitely be on this forum soon
I did not use it myself, but i heard that Moghul is a very good book for IO...try using it.
About the Event Delegation Model, read the chapter again and again from RHE...you will begin to love it
All the best.

Hi all !
I passed my SCJP with 74%. It is not a GREAT score I know, but I am satisfied, since I know that I had not given it as much time as people usually do.
I think the credit for all my success goes to the javaranch team
and specially maha anna's discussions and mock-exam page.
Also, Velmurugan Periaswamy's notes are wonderful and I found them very useful for Last minute revision.
Thanks all,

Hi ! I had posted it on the Intermediate Forum but I am moving this here, as I think this forum is more apprpriate
Try this :
code:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
final int a = 100;byte b = a;System.out.println("The number is" + b) ;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This code compiles and prints the output. But the following :
code:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
int a = 100;byte b = a;System.out.println("The number is" + b) ;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does not compile. It says "Possible loss of precision".
What is the role of final here ? Can anyone please explain this behaviour ?

An excellent source of information, for improving thread related fundas are the discussions on Maha Annas page on this site, in my opinion.
You can try opening the server.xml file and enter the following values against the RequestInterceptor variable :
<RequestInterceptor
className="org.apache.tomcat.request.InvokerInterceptor"
debug="0" prefix="/servlet/" />

Hi Deepak !
For servlets, you can try the book by O'reilly, i found it useful myself.
For JSPs, there is this book "Professional JSP", you can try that out. I found it to be good.
And for Discussions/doubts, you already know the best site...this one !
