Now I understand that
read() returns the single char and read(char[]) returns number of characters in the array which we have read from file.

I am reading a file using FileReader object.
char[] in=new char[50]; int size1=0; int size2=0; try { File file=new File("c:/abc.txt"); //File contains "Awais Awais" i.e. 11 Chars FileReader fr=new File Reader(file); size1=fr.read(); //used to check the size size2=fr.read(in);//used to check the size and read the file in char array System.out.println(size1); System.out.println(size2); } catch(IOException ex){}

Why size1 is printing 65?, while size2 is showing 11 which is correct.
Is both methods are not same? I think read() is used to read the size of file while read(char[]) is used to read the file in char array and returns the size of file. Am I right? If I am right then why both are showing different values?

Well I am going to tell you company name.

well my salary package was 4500AED, I know its not much.
Now a day I am in a strange situation, I resigned from my current job after recieving offer from this company. Now company wants that I stay with them long and work on oracle forms
What do you think?? should I leave the job? and search for another or stay here??

Dubai's company send me offer letter and I accecpted and signed the letter and mailed them back and resigned from the current job. I started my passport and degree attestation process.
But, now I recieved a mail from same company that they are revoking my offer. Because they are not interested to hire a person in their company permanently. They will develop their solution from some softwarehouse. Is there any law, so that I can claim about that company anywhere??

I have an offer from dubai in a UK based company. They are offering me 3000 dirhmas with accomodation and transportation. Currently, I am working in Pakistan. What do you think that is this offer is sufficient for 2 years j2ee experiened person??

I am studying from Bert's book on page number 231 there is topic of parseXxx(0 and valueOf(). I have some confusion in it.
In book it is stated that
parseXxx() returns the named primitive.
valueOf() returns a newly created wrapped object of the type that invoked
the method.
and example is
1. long L2 = Long.parseLong("101010", 2); // binary String to a // primitive 2. System.out.println("L2 = " + L2); // result is: L2 = 42 3. Long L3 = Long.valueOf("101010", 2); // binary String to // Long object 4. System.out.println("L3 value = " + L3);// result is: // L3 value = 42
This is fine. But when I use wrapper Class Long instead of primitive long it works fine and vice versa on line 3. If both works fine with both primitive and wrapper then can you please guide me that whats the difference between both??

just try this one. you are using extra brackets. Please check your code carefully.
