Hello, I would like to have the capability of
filling out a jsp form and then feeding this data
to a Word template on the server and return the document prefilled with the data back to the user.
If this is at all possible, could you please point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Ezra

Hello, I am sending the same file via FTP from one NT machine to another. The first time I send it everything works fine and the file is there.
But when the second file comes in I see the timestamp get updated for the file on the receiving box for a brief second implying that the transfer worked but then the file gets deleted for some reason. Did anyone ever have this issue?

You are correct. The outlook name is linked to a
valid email which I am now using and it works.
Thanks for your help
I am trying to send an email to an Outlook email
address which contains white spaces like
"outlook email account". I get an Illegal whitespace in address exception. Is there any way
to send an email to an address with white spaces?
Thanks
I figured out what the problem was. I was adding
multi-line text to the subject instead of the body. This caused it to do strange things.
Thanks

This is the code I use to send emails:

Sometimes the text I use for the body causes the
contents of the attached file to be appended to the body instead of attached as a separate file.
I send the emails to an Outlook account and noticed that there is "<end>" appended to the body when it works correctly which I did not place there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ...
Thanks,

Is there a way to get/save a return code
from a java program? I need to integrate it
with ESP, a scheduling program that runs on
the mainframe. I need to launch the
java program from within a Unix shell script
and get some type of return code to determine
if I should do other processing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ...

I am just concerned about hackers somehow
crashing the servlet. Maybe doing something
like /servlet/myServlet?value=lots-of-junk-data.
I am not a hacker so I am not sure what types
of attacks a JSP/Servlet system is open to.

Thanks a bunch!

I am working on a program that requires
high security and I was wondering if there
is any way a hacker can attack my servlets
and what can be done to protect them.
Example: If someone did a view source on one
of my jsp pages and saw:

What could potentially be done with this
information and how can I protect myservlet?
Thanks in advance,
E.E.
