Hi All,

I have two j2ee applications deployed in WAS 5.1 servers. App A is making a remote EJB call to app B.
Recently, I added new ejb method in app B and deployed it in the server.
When calling the new method from app A, it is working fine. But one of the old method call is throwing below exception.
I checked the number of methods in session bean, interface, stub and skeleton classes. They seem to match.
So no clue where to look further. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi All,

My application exposes web services and am getting below error when invoking from SOAP UI tool.
Developed in RAD 7.5, deployed in WAS 6.1.0.21 and uses JAX-WS.

Googling points to JAXB error when using Date, Timestamp data types. I am not using any such data types other than XMLGregorianCalendar for which the xsd data type generated was xs:anySimpleType.

Any pointers would be of great help. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I would like to know which is the best and recommended SQL query optimization/tuning tool for DB2 windows from below?

1. Optimization Service Center for DB2® for z/OS® (OSC), a convenient workstation tool for analyzing EXPLAIN output
2. OMEGAMON® DB2 Performance Expert, a tool which can help you with SQL performance
3. EXPLAIN, a DB2 monitoring tool
4. DB2 SQL Performance Analyzer, a tool that provides you with an extensive analysis of SQL queries without executing them.
5. Toad for DB2

And if any other good tool is also there, do let me know. Thanks.

Thanks Deepak.
I guessed it should be an additonal property we need to add to custom properties

I already checked in WAS 6.1 console under datasources and was not able to find it. So was not sure where to look

Hi,

I understand that autocommit is set to TRUE by default in DB2.
My application is deployed in WAS 6.1 server
Can I change autocommit setting in my server? If so where?

Thanks,
Gokul

Am not using auto-commit in my code.
By default in DB2, auto-commit is set to TRUE right?
Can this be configured in the application server datasource settings?
I dont have any commit statement in Stored procedure also.
Hi,

I have a J2EE app which connects to DB2.
In one method, I have a Stored procedure call which has INSERT SQL.

I DON'T have any transaction mgmt in my application. In this case, when does the exclusive lock gets released?

Thanks,
Gokul

javax.jms.JMSSecurityException: MQJMS2013: invalid security authentication supplied for MQQueueManager
at com.ibm.mq.jms.MQConnection.createQM(MQConnection.java:2446)

I am using WAS 6.1 and Webshere MQ 5.3. Transport type as client.

Thanks,

Thanks. I will try this option.
Once loaded using the above method, the container will take care of the transaction using the attributes in the context xml right ?
