Hi Harry

When the node stops do you see any java cores or cores or heapdumps in the log directory for the nodeagent ?

Can you post the messages from the node agent's systemout.log

Thanks

Hi Wasadmin

You said you have federated one more server into the cell ?
Normally you federate a node to the cell.

Do you mean that you have created another server on a new node(added to the cell) which is part of your existing cluster ?

If you have added a new server to the existing cluster just do node sync from the Admin console and your application get pushed to the new server.

Also if you are trying to do map module to servers you will select the cluster name not the appserver name from the drop down list so that your code is deployed on the cluster. When code is deployed on cluster ear gets deployed on all the cluster members.

Hi James
For running the ikey man on the Server you need to xserver on your local machine so that when you do the export display it will display the GUI/

I don't use the WSAD's version of ikey man.

Which version of iKeyman do you have that allows you to choose a type "CMS key database file"?

Well Both the version's of IBM Httpserver 6.0 and 1.3.26 let's you chose the CMS key database file.

You can do one thing download a windows based IBM Httpserver 6.0 on your machine. You can get this IHS from IBM's website.

After you install the IHS 6.0 select the programs select IBM HTTP Server6.0 and select Start Key Management Utility.
This will popup the IBM key Management(ikeyman) GUI on your machine.
It has jks, cms, jceks and pkcs12 as key datbase types. You can select which ever option you want when you create or open a key databse file.

Hi James

Are you running ikeym man locally (your machine)?

Try to run the ikey man tool from your IHS server. Keep all your files (.kdb,arm,.sth.crletc)in a directory.
1) Run the export display with your ip (EXPORTDISPLAY=yourip:0.0)
2)/ihsinstallroot/bin ./ikeynam
3) on the Ikeyman GUI select the file open and then from the drop down select cms format and select browse to point where your kdb files are there.

What version of WAS /IHS are you using ?

Hi Shekhar

Give the path of your jar files in the JVM class path of the Application server.
From the Admin console Server -> Application Server->AppserverName ->Java Process Management -> Process Definition -> select Java virtual machine
In the class path window add your path
example
/usr/opt/xx.jar
/usr/opt/yy.jar
/usr/opt/zz.jar

Save and sync and bounce your application server to pick up the changes.

Hi Rajesh

Did you try starting and stopping the server from the command line instead of Admin console.

What error message do you see in your startserver.log and Systemout.log file ?

May be your Application server is running and some how status is not getting refreshed on the console.

First run the serverStatus -all from your websphere install root/bin directory to check your server's status if its running then
run stop Server appservername and then startServer appservername

Thanks

Hi Neeraj

You need to do the following

1)Upgrade the WebSphere Application Server Version 5.1 to 5.1.1

Apply the Fix Pack 1

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg24007195

Download the Windows Base fix pack 1 and run the updater.
After the successful update your Websphere Application version should be 5.1.1.

2) Apply the cumulative fix 5 (was510_cf5_win.zip)

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/websphere/appserv/support/fixpacks/was51/cumulative/cf5105/Windows/
