Posting the answer just in case, someone will need in future

<xpath>/web-app/env-entry/env-entry-value</xpath> - this was wrong.

the correct expression is <xpath>/web-app/env-entry/[env-entry-name="bm_env"]/env-entry-value</xpath>

Thanks

Try giving

in weblogic-application.xml. If this doesn't work, just play around with the package-name and see if that helps.

Could you give the specifics of how you integrated Apache and weblogic. I recently did for apache 2.0 and weblogic 10.3/
It works perfect. May be I could help you if you tell me exactly how you integrated..

I followed this link http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs100/plugins/apache.html

Hope this helps!

You may place the contents to be included in your domain_home/lib folder.
Weblogic automatically puts those contents at startup.

domain home is something like, C:\oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain. It changes based on your instalation.

Please let me know if this works

All,
Could someone tell me if it is possible to use plan.xml to override <env-entry> values in web.xml and ejb-jar.xml.

I have an entry like,. in web.xml and ejb-jar.xml(one entry for each of my EJBs). In my application, I lookup the value using JNDI like, ic.lookup("java:comp/env/my_env"). If I have hardcoded values in web.xml and ejb-jar.xml, everything works fine. Now I need to use deployment plan to override the value to staging and production. My plan.xml looks like this

Relevant portion of my ejb-jar.xml is

I have been looking on the web for solution, the closest one I found was http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=971474&tstart=223

But still I am not able to get through this. Please let me know what I miss here.
Thanks

Hi
I am doing some research on migrating my app (in JBOSS 4.x) to Weblogic 11g.
When I did some research, I came across the following thread

http://objectmix.com/weblogic/519839-porting-jboss-weblogic.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">webpage

which talks about wltool.zip to convert JBoss Deployment scripts to Weblogic.
I am not able to find info on this tool on the web. Can somebody help.

Thanks

Are you still looking for someone to fill this spot? Do you consider H1b candidates? I live in King of Prussia PA, which is 30 minutes commute to Horsham PA.
I am very much interested in this position.

Thanks

Here is the sample to do what you want. Hope this helps

In this code,
returnList - the collection which has your day, month and year
myCollectionElement - just an id, you can give any name for this

This code will print the collection in table format.

Thanks

If the resultset doesnot contain any rows, then what would it return if we check

if (rs != null)

In my case, this returns true. Is it possible, this returns true even if there are no rows in my resultset?
I am using jdbc to connect to oracle 10g. I can connect to the db and get the resultset. I have 2 rows in my table. I am able to use resultsetmetadata on the resultset.
But, when I try to retrieve the values from the resultset, I get the following exception

"java.sql.SQLException: Result set is in an invalid state. May be before the first row or after the last row."

When I try to use various methods in the resultset for checking, I find isAfterLast and isFirst both methods returning true. I am not able to understand, where the cursor points to now. I am using scrollable resultset. My resultset is not null.

rs.isAfterLast() true
rs.isFirst() true

Can somebody help me ?
I am using JNDI Datasource (running in weblogic8.1) to connect to database. I have inserted 2 rows in the table. Below is the code. I am able to get the resultset. But, I get
"java.sql.SQLException: Result set is in an invalid state. May be before the first row or after the last row". I can understand this is because of not positioning the pointer at the correct place in resultset. I am trying different possibilities. Please let me know what the problem could be?

I have installed BEA Weblogic 8.1 on my machine. I used Configuration Wizard to initially create a new Weblogic Configuration. During the process, I gave a username and password. After that I was able to login to administration console using the username and password i supplied during the configuration.

Again, I used "Extend an existing Weblogic Configuration" to add support for JDBC and Datasources. Now I am not able to login to admin console using my username and password. The default weblogic/weblogic is working.

What could be the reason?
