hi,

i installed oracle 9.2.0.4 on linux 9.0, and i created a database called 'test'. but somehow i deleted all the related control and data files of 'test'. when i tried the "startup" command i got the following error message
"ORA-01079: ORACLE database was not properly created, operation aborted".


then i tried to regenerated 'test' but was told

"ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed
ORA-01100: database already mounted"

what should i do? looking forward to reply!

i think the ejbobject is the new name for the stub and skeleton object. IMHO from what i have done it should be the bean instance. correct me if i am wrong.

2)i put an instance variable i to the bean class,and put a counter in the findbyprimekey method.

i call the findbyprimekey from client, and everytime the console output i as 1. so i guess everytime a new bean instance was created. am i right?

i did not read the spec yet.

i run the example again, it seems fell into non of the options.
1. the ejbload is called only for findbyprimekey with different keys.

for example:
when i call findbyprimekey(1)the first time, it will call ejbload
if i run it for a second time, ejbload was not called, while at the same time a new instance was created.

if i call findbyprimekey with a different key findbyprimekey(2), ejbload was called and a new instance was created.

so it seems everytime it created new instance but ejbload was not always called. how to explain it

Generally when the program terminates,object is lost but entity bean stays until it is deleted.

Thanks for your reply. i think that is not my question. my question is why the container generates new instance everytime i call the findByPrimekey method even i call it with exactly the same key. according to you reuse the existing instance(since it is not gone yet) for the same primekey would make more sense than create a new one. i think Kyle answer it. but i am still confused what is the benefit of doing this, what is the context that will fit into this policy. Since RJB spec put this as an option, it should have its use. Kyle can you explain it?

Thank you for your reply.There is no exception thrown. it is not i created a test client already and the client can not find the ejb located in the jboss server. The problem is that the lomboz new test client wizard can not find the deployed beans in the Jboss server, such as when the wizard dialog window pop up, i specifies the server and it try to search for the matching interfaces as the home and remote interfaces, it always give me nothing but empty list.

i am creating a J2EE test client using lomboz 2.1.3 for a ejb deployed in Jboss 3.2.3 in Eclipse 2.1.2. the bean was deployed successfully but when i am trying to create a test client, the create test client wizard can not find the deployed beans in the Jboss server. what's the problem? i am following the tutorial from http://www.tusc.com.au/tutorial/html/chap1.html. Pls help me out.

I took the exam today. When i ended the exam, it showed that "you do not agree the Non_closure agreement of Sun and there will be no result for this exam". And i can not check my sectionscore either. However it can print my score and it showed that i pass the exam with 83%. How come?
Did it mean that Sun will not consider the result of my exam? Anybody can clear this for me?

I think you can call it multi-times, but only the first call will be effective. You might use the outputstream in your case.
