what is the difference between transaction and extended persistence context?

how these two relate with container and bean managed transaction?

I was completed scwcd , I used to study hfsj book , it was awesome.

they explained clearly how to setup and execute sample examples.

I studied books , i tried a lot but i am not able to continue to execute.


Please explain me with one example, that will be great help.

is it enough if i study Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0, 5th Edition book to finish my SCBCD5.0 exam and clear understanding of EJB3.0'S? it was written by Bill Burke and Richard Monson-Haefel (O'Reilly)
