Really appreciate the idea, effort and time you put though in publishing this book – and sharing your knowledge and experience gained being an Architect. Though there are a series of “Cracking xxx Interview” resources available, I personally found very limited resources for Software/ IT Architecture space. This book would be handy when summarizing and quickly going though a majority of potential areas likely to be asked, just before an interview. By going through the topics, I also believe this would be a definite read for anyone to face an Architect interview.

Wel, i have been working with Eclipse for two years and did not find any way to load the needed modules (plugins) only. What i have experienced is to remove the unwanted plugins when it comes to a performance hit. But again, Eclipse (3.4) was not slow down the machine since there were only Spring Framework and Subversion plugins have been installed.

Basically, any of the Jini resources will be addressed JavaSpaces Technology since, that is a Service running in Jini. And I found this book which has been discussed JavaSpaces in detailed with examples.

Hi all,

I faced this issue in the JavaSpace which running in my Server Application. The very first object, which is written into the JavaSpace can not be taken by the Client Application (the rest can be taken ). But if all the Jini Services are restarted, (net.jini.core.discovery.LookupLocator | net.jini.core.lookup.ServiceRegistrar | net.jini.space.JavaSpace) the Client Application takes the first object as well.

Since the issue is only with the first object written into the space, I am looking forward for possible reasons for the issue.

I am a final year student of a Computing Degree and have an idea of doing a Distributed File System for the Final Year Project. I am mainly consider only Distribution of files across a LAN and Replication of data. So any idea of how to split the files (Bite Streams) into chunks or any valuable research paper will be highly appreciated..

i'm starting my final year of computing (Hons) degree on mid of November. Since we are supposed to do an individual final year project, i'm having a basic idea of doing a project on data mining using Java. We are given a time period of 6 months to finish the project. Your ideas on this will be highly appreciated.
