Hi,

I have configured the JBoss server to use Websphere MQ using the wiki site: http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/UsingWebSphereMQSeriesWithJBossASPart4

We used this in order to enable JBoss to connect to a queue manager, and drain messages from the queue. Now, we would like to take things one step further, and secure and use SSL. Is there a wiki that describes how this can be done using Websphere MQ?

The specifications that we are using are as follows.
JBoss version: 4.0.5.GA
Java Version: 1.4_11
Websphere MQ version: 6.0.2.1

If there is anything else that you would like to know, please let me know.

Thank you very much in advance,

JC

I have an EAR file containing a generic module which acts as a generic MDB as well as a number of JARs representing our services which is invoked by the MDB. The problem that is occurring is that whenever we change a module, we have to redeploy the whole application. I was wondering if there is a way to separate our JARs from the EAR file so that we can plug it into the server's deploy directory whenever a change is made. Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks in advance,

Juan
I was wondering what would be the best way to configure Spring so that it can implement connection pooling for MQ.
I am currently working on a project that uses an MDB to read messages off of an MQ queue, process them, and then write the response to another queue on the same queue manager.

The issue that we are having is that we have server specific data such as the hostname, queue name to drain from etc. within our ejb-jar.xml. This is a hastle for our build team because they require a new EAR file for each JBoss server they deploy the application on. My question is the following. Is there a way to separate the server specific data from the ejb-jar.xml?

The technologies that we use are IBM Websphere MQ Explorer with fixpack 6.0.2, JBoss AS 4.0.5.GA, java 1.5_011.

The following is a sample EJB definition from our ejb-jar.xml.

Thank you very much in advance,
