I have prepared for SCEA ver 2, step1 and I want to go for the exam in the next week.
Today, when I browsed over Sun site, I found SCEA ver 5(all 3 steps), and one upgrade exam for those who already certified with ver2 are also got released and are on Sun certifications catalog..
Ver 5, is with damn, some change of syllabus and topics coverage, like removing the specific coverage of topics legacy connectivity, protocols etc and adding extra topics like, more Business and integration technologies, Web Services and SOA-enablement..
Now I am in a big confusion, whether I can go to ver 2 or ver 5.. As I have lean period for a few days only and already prepared for ver 2 , topics, Is it better go with that itself?
(or) better to go with ver 5.. I have already some knowledge about those new topics introduced.. But because, of the issue of multiple answers selection, I guess, I should wait some more time and do prepare thoroughly.. Also, one more issue availability of material, certification-oriented.. As this exam is a new one, definitely, there wont be much material, available..
Please guide me what should I do, whether can I go with ver 2 itself and after going thru all 3 steps with ver2 and later at some point of time, can plan to complete one upgrade exam to ver 5 , because time is constrained for me (or) better to wait, and go for ver 5..
Also, I request you to please share if you ve any material relating to ver 5 specific topics available..
