Hi Friends,

I am facing some issue while spanning the thread in IBM Http server.
While using 500 concurrnet user load, System (CPU, Memory,Network) are less than 20%. While I am focusing on thread usage it is not spanning... Can anyone help me in this....
I am using "IBM_HTTP_SERVER/1.3.28 Apache/1.3.28".

I am running in console....

I am logging in to db2 console using db2inst1 credential...
But the commands are working fine... But I cant see the output...

I have DB2 version 8.2 and IBM Websphere 5.2.2 but ... it is compatible... But have small issue on mod_mpmstat.so.... But everything is fine....

Go to the folder RAD 7... Under that, find where you have the java.exe file....Come down to command prompt and find jave version.... And IBM Websphere 6.1 is available ....

Allocate Min and Max 1GB.... And enable the Verbose Gc .... Give me your system configuration.... And what is your jre is it 32 or 64 bit...

1. That the server is not in the a startup, shutdown stage in it lifecycle.

-- This is configuration issue

2. That all of the webapps are running.

-- Some time services will run, But the invoked thread may be expired...due to that apache may not perform well

Outof memory only when it come when there is no memory for JVM....
Allocate the memory for your application..... And best thing is do the code profiling which will give you the better picture .... on your application memory leak... Due to that your JVM get squeez.....

You can manage all application deployment in one system it self or .....
Static pages are into Web Server, Business logic into App Server and so on.... Depends on your business ... But the thing is Keeping mind for performance they are placing separate.... If I have high end server I can have all it one ...
