I took the SCJP 5.0 exam on June 29, 2009.

Is there a way to access my exam result online?

If you remember Transformers, there was this dialog there:

That's the signal that hacked our network. NASA's working around the clock to break it but we need YOUR help in deciphering this signal. You've all shown technical skill in the field of signal analysis. We're on a hair trigger, people, the United States has dispatched an armed force to its full capacity. This is as real as it's going to get. I'm going to leave you to the officer to sort you all into groups. Good luck to us all.

What does it mean "a signal hacked our network"? How can a "signal" hack any network?

Most of the site components are hosted at coderanch.com instead of javaranch.com . Why do we use two domain names for one website this way? Or is there something that I am missing?

Thanks!

Why do solar waves affect radio wave communications?

From Wikipedia,

Why is this present only on the business series of laptops? What is so businessy about it?

In this pic, taken from Google maps

I understand that most probably when this shot was taken the plane was in motion.

Is that the reason for the fringe? Also, why is the fringe ahead of the plane?

Does anyone of you recognize what place this is?

In Nokia phones, there are bars to indicate the strength of the network...

Does three bars mean (figure B below) that the range of the network is less than 75% of the maximum? I mean do these bars hold equal weightage?

I know, a truly meaningless question to ask, I hoping I am asking it at the right place

Taken from here - http://justcreativedesign.com/2010/07/15/2014-fifa-world-cup-logo/

will be the logo for the next World Cup in Brazil.

How do you find the logo? Better than expected? Or expected better?

Personally I feel that the logo used this time (2010) was way better. That one reflected the enthusiasm pretty well. I feel this one (2014) is kind of static as compared to the previous one...

Mike Simmons wrote:The reason we don't see two more images is that they're outside the field of view. If the mirrors in the box were bigger, then we would see them. But the places we would see them are outside the box, so we can't.

Alternately, if the cup were moved closer to the box, you'd see all three images. But since the cup is far from the box, the left and right images are far from the center, off to the far left and far right respectively, where they can't be seen.

Thanks! that makes sense.

What do you mean - "mirror is not flat on the back of the box"? I did not understand.
