I want to create network diagram by using a toolkit with predefined tools (such as lines, nodes, switches, etc.) and the end user able to drag and drop such tools(entity) to a grid to make a network.
Application has an ability to set properties to such a dragging entity and need to be validated on the spot. Moreover, user has ability to load the diagram and do editing, removing to the network diagram.

If someone has such an experience or aware of how to do this your help would be greatly appreciated.

My company wants to design an electricity network design application. I think the ideal solution is oracle spatial. I’m a java developer and familiar with oracle 10g too.
I’m very much familiar with java swing technology.
Can anyone help me out to guide me for the suitable java technology and the steps involved? And what java libraries need to be downloaded. I’m really stuck in it. Please help...

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Hi Swati

Once I used System.exit() then close the main menu also.
I need to close only the internal frame and the opened Jframes only.

To selectively close the required windows, how I can identify what are the opened jframes objects. Since there are several menues in the Main menu. and user can open only one internalfame at a time. There he may or may not be open jframes. If there are opened Jframes once he exit from that menu option all the opened Jframe and internal frame need to be closed other than main menu.

I have closed button in the JInternalFrame only. There I can close only JInternalFrame. But I need to close all the opened JFrames as well other than the Menu.

Hi..
When Stored Procedure returns a value(VARCHAR or NUMBER) ,In the javabean we used as follows
CallableStatement callstmt= null;
int NoRec;
callstmt=conn.prepareCall("{call PKG_NAME.PROCEDURE_NAME(?,'" +VARIABEL+ "')}");
callstmt.registerOutParameter(1, java.sql.Types.INTEGER);
callstmt.execute();
NoRec=callstmt.getInt(1);
callstmt.close();
My prob. is I used Stored Procedure and its return an array type
then how I register it in the bean and what is getxxx method?
OR else if Stored Procedure returns multiple records how it get into javabean?
Thanks in advance

If return a single records from stored procedure,Normally we use
following java codes.
CallableStatement callstmt= null;
callstmt=conn.prepareCall("{call MY_PAKAGE.MY_PROCEDURE
(?,?,'" +CONSUMER_NO+ "' )}");
callstmt.registerOutParameter(1, java.sql.Types.VARCHAR);
callstmt.registerOutParameter(2, java.sql.Types.VARCHAR);
callstmt.execute();
My problem is if procedure returns multiple records, then am I need to use registerOutParameter and if so how.
Thanks in Advance

Hi...
When I declare a method as private in a supper class, It's clear that sub classes cannot access that private method .
If I create a instance of a supper class within a subclass then ,can I access that private method as shown below???
public class Ssupper{
private void setAge(int sAge){
if(sAge >= 100){
System.out.println("You have a long life");
}
}
class Ssub extends Ssupper{
public static void main(String argv[]){
Ssupper b = new Ssupper();
b.setAge(101);
}//End of main
}
}
