Hi All,

Have JAVA/JSP systems running on JBOSS 6.1EAP on Windows Server 2008R2. System unavailability has been a concern these days.

I have been struggling for clustering of JBOSS 6.1 EAP on Windows. But, couldn't get any proper documentation on it.

Mostly, documents are there for Linux OS.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Jaikiran...

Thanks for your reply.

Yes. Connections are closed properly.

The same code is working fine on JBoss 5.1 but on 6.1 EAP, it is not releasing connections.

Any clue?

Hi All,

I am using Jboss EAP 6.1 for my web system with Jboss connection pool.

I am facing a peculiar issue wherein connections are not getting destroyed due to which after a period of time connections get full and system cannot connect to database.

I have to manually flush connections using a button located on Jboss console under Profile tab below JNDI tab of my data source.

I monitor destroyed connection count on Jboss console only which reads as follows:

It used to destroy the connections properly on Jboss 5.1.

Any help will be appreciated.

{
"ActiveCount" => "9675",
"AvailableCount" => "40325",
"AverageBlockingTime" => "15",
"AverageCreationTime" => "20",

"MaxWaitCount" => "0",
"MaxWaitTime" => "16",
"TimedOut" => "0",

I am migrating my applications from JBOSS 5.1CR1 to JBOSS 7.1.1 Final.

In JBOSS 7.1.1 Final, when I download a .csv file, it displayes it in text in the browser and does not download it as a downloadable file.

It works fine in JBOSS 5.1CR1.

Do I need to do any seeting in any of the configuration files?

Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
Got stuck in a weird scenario.

Have got a common webservice for login authenticcation.

Web service was created keeping in mind systems built on JDK 1.5 and onwards.

There are many legacy systems built on JDK 1.4 which are not able to call this webservice.

Attched is the code for webservice. Calling prnot getting cogram : AuthenticateClient.java

Program which is causing exception is AuthenticateStub.java at following lines for getConstructor method and newInstance method:
java.lang.reflect.Constructor constructor = exceptionClass.getConstructor(String.class);
java.lang.Exception ex = (java.lang.Exception) constructor.newInstance(f.getMessage());

My problem:
1) Cannot upgrade legacy systems to JDK 1.5
2) Cannot make major changes in web service program since already implemented for some system.

Please help me in making the webservice compatible for both JDK 1.4 and 1.5
