May be i think I'm not including the classpath during compilation. How do I do that??
Should I give the path of the Installation directory of the j2ee I downloaded from sun
It a really big problem creating Beans from netbeans. Now I have downloaded the J2ee form the sun's site and have access to the deployment tool. But the files I created earlier i.e advice ,adviceBeans and all have the same error that the package javax.ejb.*; can't be imported. What's wrong now I m doing everything manually , compiling from command prompt. And also I have notice that in command prompt the command j2ee is not recognized. Am I going wrong somewhere???
Thanks for replying , I want to use sun application server through netbeans. Which is also a big problem as after the plugins are installed it asks for the installation directory which I don't know. I had installed the RI mentioned in the Book but now its also not running and complains that Path was not found.
I'm trying to make the basic EJB project in the Head First EJB book. But I get this problem which say's that the package can't be imported. Currently I'm compiling the code form command prompt. Where are these packages and how do I import them

Hello everyone
I'm planning to learn Red Hat Linux. Recently I completed Java. Many of my friends say that java is meant for software development and red hat Linux is mainly used for networking purpose. I'm confused because I don't want myself to land up in two different field at the same time.
Thanks in advance for replying

Hello everyone,
I am a student who recently joined java programming course (in NIIT). I was given some books which provide just the basic knowledge of the syntax. The workbook given in this course contains code problems supposed to be solved by manually testing them on your machine. But unfortunately I have not been able to get the codes from my institute , they say they don't have (even though they are authorized training partner of SUN)
somebody please help me.
