<jsp:setProperty name="show" property="*"/>
==
<jsp:setProperty name="show" property="name" param="name">
<jsp:setProperty name="show" property="moblie" param="mobile">

i think the pageContext can get any implicited object of jsp,

I try ${pageContext.request.requestURL} it works well.

now, i store a bean "address" with property "street" in request scope,

and when i try ${pageContext.request.attribute["street"]} it throws exception?

so what happened?

I know ${requestScope.address.street} , ${address.street} and ${address["street"]} all can get the property value.

But Can i use the pageContext to get the property value?

Thanks for any help

Hi,
I just wandering how to track the client's session in distributed environment?

and if the server created the client ID and how to notified the other JVM?

moreover , I think use The MAC address is the better way to track the client session. does it works? And how to implement it?

I just read the section 4 of " head first Servlet and JSP"
and worte a small Servelet to achieve download of pdf from server.
I set the content type as "response.setContentType("application/pdf");"
finally, it works. But I just wondering:

if the other client's browser is not support for pdf.
1.do i use setContentType("application/pdf") can add a new mine type to their browser?

2.if not, how to make it works? could something possible to change the client's browser MIME type?

3. if we can use something to add a new MIME type to Client's Browser, is it can cause the security problem? just like pass them the .exe file and run it that will be dangerous(like pass virus)?

I just write a small code :
---------------------------------------------
<form method="POST" action="Inquire.do">
XXXX<p>
XXXX:
<select name="cer",size="1">
<option A >A
<option B>B
</select>
<select name="ert",size="1">
<option C >C
<option D>D
</select> .........
----------------------------------------------------
its fine when i use it to request servlet.
But when i modifiy a little bit of that code and the funny thing happen
---------------------------------------------
<form method="POST" action="Inquire.do">
XXXX<p>
XXXX:
<select name="cer",size="1">
<option A >A
<option B>B
</select>
<select name1="ert",size="1"> // see i modified the name to name1
<option C >C
<option D>D
</select> .........
----------------------------------------------------
i got exception about : HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL

SO, what's the "name" really means?

recently, I just start to learn J2EE.

i read some code find all post method are passing the parameters in their body to Web server.

my question is :
Could a post method pass a object or object reference in their body to Web server(container). if it does, it will so cool. just like rmi.

Thanks god, I passed it. But two things make me really upset.

1. I still try to find a job... and hope this will be helpful.
2. My girlfriend passed it with 100%..

Next step, PASS the SDWCD before Xmas.

interface just like 100% of abstract class.
So, i just confused why abstract class cannot extends interface?

what i think:
when abstract extends interface, the abstract class got all abstract methods from interface, and abstract became the interface but without "intreface" keywords.
why ? abstract class cannot extend interface and why?
