Hi,
Last week i was writing groovy code to insert values into the database. Everything was fine but the code was failing in the last line during save to DB. After lots of debugging, I found that there was another java class with the same name as the groovy file. Curious to know - what had happened internally in this case? why did it fail in the last line instead of failing initailly?

Thanks !

My prblem is that i want to get the vales of chekc box in Action class.

Thanks

request.getParameter("name") should give you the value.... how did you try to get the value... As a first step, you can run your application on debug mode and check whether you are getting the values in the request parameter map.
i have not explored much about getting the values using request.getParameterValues("candidate_id1");
you can try that too....

if you see the html code, the name is txtSearch and not the id.. thats why it is working in IE and not in firefox... as told , if IE does not find the id it will look for name. firefox doesn't.
what is the exact problem you are facing?
Did you do it this way?
1. have different names for the check box (in the iteration you can append the id to the name )
2. retrieve the values in the action class from the request parameter (only checked box names will be there)

I cant see readONly attribute for <display>

display table is readonly.Can you be more specific?
Remove the cascade={CascadeType.ALL} it will work
In an entity i have a map<object1, object2> when object2 is deleted, the associations get deleted. In this case, along with the association, object2 should also get deleted.

Thanks
