ya as you said i did a silly mistake in the result.jsp.
i just missed to close the codes.
the whole day i searched all the forums but the mistake is very silly
but by searching the forums i learn a lot newly

i am trying to do the program in chapter 3 of HFJS.
it compiles fine.
but when i try to deploy the form.html page works fine but if i click the submit button its giving HTTP status 500 error.

whether its april 5th 2009 or may 4th 2009
please someone clarify this.
