Hi All,
I have a keystore with selfsigned certificate, private key generated and the trusted certificates [root,chain and server].
After enabling SSL port on tomcat6.29, tomcat always picks self signed certificate instead of trusted certificate.

<Connector
port="8443" maxThreads="200"
scheme="https" secure="true" SSLEnabled="true"
keystoreFile="${user.home}/.keystore" keystorePass="changeit"
clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS"/>

If i mention keyalias as trusted keyalias i get the error as shown below and tomcat wont start.

ERROR: java.io.IOException: Alias name keyalias does not identify a key entry

<Connector
port="8443" maxThreads="200"
scheme="https" secure="true" SSLEnabled="true"
keyAlias="keyalias" keystoreFile="${user.home}/.keystore" keystorePass="changeit"
clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS"/>

Any help with this issue would be great.

Thanks,

Is there any good method to implement SFTP client.

We can implement it with traditional SFTP APIs, but i want to know if there is any sophisticated components in Spring for SFTP client implementation.

both UI and logic for the same.

Any inputs related to this would be of great help

Hi,
I am designing a web application where i need to consider between below two approaches, Any help in suggesting which one is better for a scalable application.

Approach 1: Using VO's [Pojo layer] ---> DAO's[Data access layer] ----> service layer

Approach2: Using Entity model [ Pojos and Data access layer are merged into a single layer] ----> Service layer
In this approach i use entitymanager and annotations

Thanks in advance,

Hi,
I have a simple proxy application which reads the data from HttpURLConnection input stream and writes it back to HttpServletResponse output stream.

I have observed the content length which is set in header is always greater than the data length which is read from the inputstream. [ Data is unicode ]

In all the request which i process i see last 2 or 3 bytes are empty. [note: These empty bytes are not from the source from where i get the input stream ]

I would like to know, what exactly are these last 2 or 3 bytes used for or they have any significant role.

Let me know thoughts on this.

Thanks in Advance,

Hi All,
I recently added new entry for proxy pass in configuration file of apache webserver.

configuration for proxypass is as below

OLD entries:
ProxyPass /app/ https://server.corp.company.com/app/
ProxyPass / https://server.corp.company.com/app/
ProxyPass * https://server.corp.company.com/app/

New Entry:
ProxyPass /app1/ https://server.corp.company.com/app/
ProxyPass /app2/ https://server.corp.company.com/app/

now when i try to access the new entries i get the below error:

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /app/.

Reason: DNS lookup failure for: server.corp.company.com:

But still the old entires works fine.

Any thoughts on the above issue is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
