then you are in the wrong field
I dont know if this is an option for you but if you are just goign to be using it for web surfing then have you considered installing Ubuntu Linux?
I would be weary of surfing the internet on a Win98 box given all the exploits out there.

in otherwords, my web application uses hibernate as a middleware for curd operations. may i know how to design that.

You want to look at the MVC design pattern.
Model is your hibernate relational mapping
View is the web page for display
Controller is the code to interact with your model and view.

Let us know how you make out.

does it mean hibernate is used as a middle layer between database and controller?

Yes
I think you need to add the tomcat jars to the classpath.

It would help if you told us what Exception you were getting.

But from glancing from your code it looks like your trying to do an insert on testo, which is your database. You need to do the insert on the table"new table" in your database.
Looks like a factory pattern, where the type of class will be instantiated based on the input.

I think you need to set the JTable opacity
table.setOpaque(true);
Or set the component opacity, I forget.

I had a similar requirement. I just un-jar'ed all of the class files into one big directory then jar'ed that.

In the constructor you call both listen() and writeFile(). First listen() is invoked from the constructor, but it never leaves because you have a while(true) loop in there.
So it never breaks out of the constructor.
Hope that helps.

Content not allowed in prolog means that you did not have well formed XML in the request or response string. You should dump whats going across the wire or try a simple example. And I concur with what the other dude said your example is way too complex.

If the OS needs to use memory for another process it will reclaim it if the JVM is not using it. You are looking at the high-water mark if you are using top or similar utility.

If you are using linux you can use the 'time' command. See "man time"
But personally I prefer Miklos suggestion to use currentTimeMillis and find the delta

Its just marketing type. Its like saying Champagne is not Champagne unless it comes from the province of Champania.
Montecriso makes cuban cigars too. Ive had Montecristos grown from tobacco in Central America and tobacco in Cuba and you cant tell the difference.
Also if you are in the US I would not try to order Cuban cigars from Switzerland (from the link posted above) that is still violating the embargo.
