Hi,

I need some help about how to enable the SSL in JBoss.
Please go through to my requirement below:

Requirement details :
I have two war files project1.war and projecct2.war and both deployed on single jboss instance.
However there is no issue in that but I would like that project2.war should be deployed on HTTPS and project1.war should remian on HTTP.

i.e
http->project1.war
https->project2.war

Please note that there is a link in project1.war that diverts a request to project2.war

Please let me your opinion and advise, Is that possible??
If Yes, then please let me know how to achieve it.

Thanks a lot

Hello Friends,

Problem is regarding Jboss 5 deployment.
My application uses Spring, Hibernate. EAR deploy over the jboss4 works perfectly but problem with Jboss5,
throws exception:-

jboss java.lang.classcastexception org.apache.xerces.jaxp.documentbuilderfactoryimpl

I can trace that this is basically due to the xml parsers.
Jboss 5 already contains the xalan and xercesImpl jars (not xml-apis) and my app also bundles the xalan and xml-apis jars (not xercesImpl).

Jboss5 complains to keep same jars at two places. But......

1. If remove from jboss5/lib/endorsed it stops working
2. and, If remove from war/ear file it throws different exception

both are strange. Any solution about the problem. Please suggest.

Note: I found that jboss4 also contains the xalan, xercesImpl and also xml-apis so no problem while deploying the war,
but jboss5 doesn't have the xml-apis so complains during the deployment.

Kind regards

Hi,

I checked and everything seems ok to me.
Basically, I can't understand why the application or jboss is behaving in two senses.

1. when I export the .war file from eclipse to /jboss deploy and execute run.bat, It works perfectly!!
2. but when i tried to run directly from the eclipse (run on server/ Jboss) it throws above error.

Hi All,

I am stucking in a problem when deploying the app at jboss.
I am using Eclipse IDE and JBoss 4.0.0.

1. When I export a war using eclipse to jboss /deploy , and execute run.bat directly, it works fine.
2. But when I do run from the eclipse to jboss (added in eclipse env), IT FAILED

I can't understand why its happening, so
Request you to please check the below log and suggest any possible reason.

Hi All,

I am in a newbie in jboss.
Started with the deploying of a .war file.

My applictaion uses Struts, Spring and Hibernate.
And using MAVEN build the .war file.

Its works fine when deployed at tomcat,
but reverts an error with JBoss deployment.

Not able to locate the jars.
Any advice about it !!

2009-10-28 10:58:00,994 DEBUG [org.jboss.deployment.MainDeployer] The manifest entry in file:/C:/JBoss/jboss-4.0.0/jboss-4.0.0/server/default/deploy/demo-1.0.war references URL file:/C:/JBoss/jboss-4.0.0/jboss-4.0.0/server/default/deploy/struts-1.2.9.jar which could not be opened, entry ignored

thanks in advance
