Hi Karl! I've been looking at the book's previews and they're great. I especially love the sense of humor.
I've done some programming, but I am an absolute beginner when it comes to testing. Do you have any recommendations on the best way to learn the prerequisites for the testing chapter?
Yeah, I certified a *long* time ago. Over a decade. I know that's way too far back to go into specifics, but how has the exam changed over time in general? Any predictions on future emphasis?
I downloaded and installed jdk-6u37-windows-i586.exe, but I must be doing something wrong (like downloading the wrong thing) because my computer doesn't recognize javac.
It's been eight years, but I'm thinking about getting back on the horse. Has anything changed in that time? It looks like the assignments are the same.
So how do you pronounce it? Does the first syllable rhyme with "hit" or "height"? Do you push the s into the first syallable or leave it in the second? Great name, I just want to get it right. Paul R
Nathan: Bravo! A well-researched and thought-out reply. Ken: You don't need to be condescending to make a thoughtful argument. Comments like "not based on reality", "ridiculous", and "Wake up!" will only make you look bad, not increase the strength of your argument. Paul R
