Hi!

could any one please help me..
maybe I didnt explain myself well - my question is - how does the client knows the local /remote class? does a copy of the local/remote class needs to be in the client project? if I dont put it there - I get Compilation error. but it doesnt make sense for me that it should be there.

Thanks!
Hi!

I am now creating my first Session Bean in EJB3. I created Remote Interface, SessionBean class that impl this interface.
now I am creating client project with Test class to me EJB with lookup.
the question is - how does the client knows the Remote interface? do I have to copy the interface also to the client? bcs now I am getting Compilation error - after activating the lookup and casting the Remote class - that he doesnot familier with the Remote Inteface.

Thanks.

Hi,

I tried all ways but it doesnt seem to work...
I used the set CLASSPATH from cmd and then tried to run my application from exe I created and from eclipse - but I still get ClassNotFound whent trying to activate reflection.

I also tried doing -classpath/-cp as an argument when running the application and got the same exception.

I am putting in the classpath dir of .class files. not jars - does it make any different?

any ideas?

thank you

Hi,

I want to add jars/.class folders to the classpath - dinamically when the program is running.
I thought to activate the command, with bat activation:

set CLASSPATH=classpath1;classpath2

my question is - how do I add elements to the classpath without overriding it each time.
I mean, if I want now also to add classpath3 and classpath4 to the CLASSPATH how do I do that?

and Is there a better way for doing the set CLASSPATH?

thank you

Hi,

I finished writeing my prject in Eclipse, now I want to package it into exe file.
I downloaded the launch4j - it seems like someting good.
but, I didnt thought about the resources problem...
I have icons in my prject that are located in a folder in my project. and I have XML file - that will be change by the user while running my program. it is also in a folder in the project.
the question is how to package them into the exe. is it altogether possible?
where and how should I save my icons and my xml? I am stuck
and how I call them from the code (what I did till now was with relative path: src\resources\a.gif but I guess it wouldnt work now...

thank you.

Hi!

I am trying to activate the javac with the Runtime.getRuntime().exec and have all kinds of problems (spaces makes problem, no sub folders included).

while looking for answers I found the JavaCompiler class (its new for JDK 6) - does someone this new feture? is it a good one? is it working better than the javac command from exec? - its worth learning how to use it or should I just continue using the javac from exec?

where can I find good examples for using it?

thank you.

Hi,

I am trying to run javac command and have to problems:
first, the -classpath - doesnt work for me, I am trying to put .class folders, I tried to put the root directory, and all the sub directories - but it dont work.. I still get:package ... does not exist.

second, I have to compile a whole folder - so i use the myFolder \*.java - as the path to compile, it works fine, but when I add " - for spaces a get: invalid flag for the folder path.

some one can help?

Hi,

the SQL jep - seems more like a tool to work on results of sql expressions, than to analyze the statement itself.

any other ideas?

Hi!

thanks, I will check this.

I have to txt files conating DML statements and i need to compare them - and to check which statements is in both files.
the problem is, that they dont have to have the same string exactly matching (order can be different, spaces etc.)
so i thought the easy will be to parse them into objects - and make the equal checking on the objects.

Hi!

I need to analyze sql statements - mostly DML statements ( Create table, Alter table, drop constrainst etc).

is there jar that parse the sqls string statements into java Objects?

I found the Zql jar - but it doesnt support Alter statements..
