Hello everybody,
I'm an Android developer since this year, and I have a good background in Java web programming experience. Now I'm searching some good books for enhancing my developing skills in Android. I'm not searching for "classic" Android books, but something more related to apps architecture and design (not UI design) and programming best practises.
Have you any suggestion?

I am a Java developer and since this year an Android developer. I'm really interested in developing good software and apps and I know that to achieve my goal I need to design better my apps. Is your book also useful for an Android developer, can I use the concepts explained in your book to realize better Android apps?

Hi,
I'm very interested in developing mobile apps and actually I'm an Android freelance programmer but I would like in the future to work also with Apple's devices, so this book promo it's really what I needed!
The Android books I have studied developed one or two apps from the first chapter to the last, have you choosen the same approach in your book?
And do you think having a knowledge of the Android programming could be useful in learning Objective-c?

Hello Dave and Satya, I really enjoy the fact that you are here to respond to some of the questions about your book,
because I'm really interested in starting right in these days to learn Android programming.

My way of learning is focused primarily on practice, what kind
of example have you choosen for this book? I mean, are they practical examples or much more teaching?
