Can anyone show me how to persist multiple values into a database using the persistence API.
How do you get multiple values from a parameter into a database using the em.persit. in my application, after extracting the value and when i trying to persist the data, it saves only one of the value and ignore the rest even with the external iteration and composition of the entity class with different values, it just saves the first value and ignore the rest.
I am developing an app that needs to use EJB and persistence API extensively. I would want to know if it is posssible to insert multiple data at a ago into the database when you call em.persist(). I have a code structure but each i call the method, it only execute once and stop. I get my parameters from the webpage and connect to database using helper classes and do multiple iteraion and insertions to get my data into the database.
So whats the point, you all trying to make, we as novice dont get it, a standard specification and an implementation. my question is does a it make Myfaces better than using the java ServerFaces?

Its open-source and free.
You can actually use SMSLIB software to achieve what you want, it only depends on the volume of SMS that will be going out of your site. You can set it up on your using compatible phone or thru an SMS provider. Try SMSLIB, it might work for you.
I have a web application that authenticate users through the Sun GlassFish Server to an OpenDS Directory service. I have problems writing code structure that can log users out of the application and end their sessions. Each time i call a Session.Invalidate and i use the browser navigation button to go back, a session is created instanly and also the getUserprincipal is still available to the page. I know i have been doing something wrong and i am in need of help. thanks

Hi, i would also love to pull user attributes directly from Active Directory, of course i dont know and i am not bothered. Have you tried use Sun Directory services to synchronise directory data from Active Directory, then use the JNDI API to get all you want except the userPassword attribute, which i am also having problems with and asking for help. cheers.
