hello,

I have a situation where i have to add dynamic value (like username) in URL from faces-config.xml.
I am using sunRI. In my application i am redirecting page from one page to another through navigation-rule of facec-config.

Ex-
<navigation-rule>
<from-view-id>/EnrEmployer.jsp</from-view-id>
<navigation-case>
<from-outcome>enroll</from-outcome>
<to-view-id>/Enroll.jsp?jobCode=1233</value></to-view-id>
<redirect/>
</navigation-case>
</navigation-rule>
in above code snippet i am redirecting page from EnrEmployer to Enroll . When the Enroll.jap page comes in URL then the URL will be look like as
[Applicatio-context]/Enroll.jsp?jobCode=1233 here url parameter(i.e. jobCode) easly added becouse its a static. I want to add username in URL. I want URL like bellow
[Applicatio-context]/Enroll.jsp?jobCode=1233&username=abc /// supose here abc is username which is currently looged in the application

I have UserDTO which holds all the user ralated information. I also save this DTO into session.

How can i add username in url through facesd-config..

Your suugestion will highly appriciate

Thanks in advance

hi,

we are using JSF1.1, JSTL, SUN-Ri, webui.

In our JSP page we include the resource bundle like bellow

<f:loadBundle basename="com.bundle.messages" var="bundle"/>

We are able to access resource bundle key/value in jsp or js code (under <script></script> tag) like bellow
${bundle.user_name_label}

But now we have a requirement in which we have to access bundle key/value in INCLUDED js file.
we are including js file like bellow
<webuijsf:script url="resources/reports.js" />

Actually we are trying to implement I18N in our application. And we are trying to fetch the Error messages also from resource bundle. Some of the javascript code is written in jsp page under script tag we dont have any issue to fetch the key/value from resource bundle.
But we have some external js file which we include in our jsp page, in that also there are some Error messages, we also want to access that from resource bundle.
So how can we access bundle from external JS file?

Thanks in advance

Hello,
we are using JSF1.1, JSTL, webui, SUN-RI

I have a jsp page which is using JSTL , In which we include external JS files like bellow
<webuijsf:script url="resources/reports.js" />

I want to access managed bean propeties in this external js file.
Suppose i have a managed bean named Reports in this i have a properties like noOfReports. I want to access this in my reports.js file.

Although we are able to access the same properties in js code(under <script> </script> tag) of same jsp page like bellow.
var numberOfCoverage1= '${Reports.noOfReports}'

But we have a requirement to access the managed bean properties in included js file.

Thanks in advance.

hello i have two code snippet
First one is like bellow which run properly

int first_var=0;
int second_var=0;
if (first_var > second_var){
int difference = first_var - second_var;
}

second one is like bellow which gives me compile time error
int first_var=0;
int second_var=0;
if (first_var > second_var)
int difference = first_var - second_var;

The difference is only curly braces of if block

Hello,
I have a login page in my application, In that i am using a login image.
I am accesing that image like bellow
<img src="${images}medical.png" width="285" height="148" />
the image variable is comming from
<c:url value="${LinLogin.imagesPath}" var="images"/>
LinLogin is bean and imagePath is a string getter/setter, i am populating this getter/setter in prerender method.
When i m invoking my application the login page display but the image is not comming, I check the source code of that pafe the image path shows me like bellow
<img width="285" height="148" src="/lin/resources/theme/default/images/;jsessionid=54BE595C60CED84F4E5F701ED0752193medical.png"/>
it should be like bellow
<img width="285" height="148" src="/lin/resources/theme/default/images/medical.png"/>

the jsessionid=54BE595C60CED84F4E5F701ED0752193 is autometicaly apend in image path so thats why my image is not displaying the image path gows wrong.

Can anybody gives me suggestion/ideas how to solve this issue.
