Do you have any particular EAI patterns would like to use? In general, Spring Integration 2.0 implements a lot of EAI patterns such as message channel, gateway, bridges, adapters, aggregators, etc.

Pro Spring Integration contains some materials about Spring 3 Framework (Core) but it does not cover everything you need for the Spring Certification. In addition, Pro Spring Integration mainly focus on the Spring Integration framework. I believe Spring Certification is focusing on the Core Spring according to SpringSource web site
