I've looked around and can't seem to find a solution to my issue so please read on to see what it is. Any help much appreciated.

* I've got table A which contains an 'Id' column (but table A has no reference to any column in table B)
* I have table B which contains a column called 'table_A_ID' which maps to the 'Id' column of table A.
* There is a 1 to 1 mapping between rows in table A and table B.

My java entities currently look like this :-

and B is defined as :-

My question concerns how I get instances of B onto instances of A (since there's no reference to B on A in the DB)? I think I need to use joins but don't know what annotations I need to use to do this kind of 'reverse lookup'?
Hi all,

We use one of the older versions of apache axis2 for our web services framework. We are using rampart 1.2 as part of that.

Am trying to use password digest with ‘nonce’ and ‘timestamp’ mechanism for authentication. We’re getting rampart to do the verification.
I’ve got the authentication verification mechanism working fine (inc. password callbacks, etc.)

The issue I’m having concerns getting rampart to recognise a ‘replay attack’, basically the functionality of the rampart module associated with recognising these seems to be inactive.
I can send the same security header to my axis2 service any number of times (even sending a security header I generated yesterday) and it authenticates fine and completes the webservice request.

My best guess is : I’m missing a config setting somewhere for the rampart module that enables the functionality to detect replay attacks.
I’ve tried both the config suggestions given in the links below (in the services.xml file) and neither seem to work :- (right at the bottom, it mentions ‘Replay attacks’)

Anyone able to help or give me some idea what I'm missing and where (I'd imagine it's config setting related) ?

I've got the module declaration for rampart in my axis2.xml file :-

And I have what I believe to be the rampart config settings in my services.xml file after all my operations are declared ;-

Best description of my problem is by example :-
* I have 2 packages : 'A' and 'childOfA' and the package structure is as follows :-
* package A contains many classes and other packages that I want to log at DEBUG level
* childOfA contains lots of debug level logging which is swamping my log files
* my root logger is set to log at INFO

What I want to do is enable logging for package A and all of it's sub packages at DEBUG level but exclude just childOfPackageA from this, and either stop logging for that package or get it to log at a higher level (eg. INFO), or to a different file.
I have no access to the code thus can't change any of this programmatically (eg. changing logging statements in childOfA to TRACE level, etc) thus need to do it through
I've tried this :-

but from what I've read on log4j docs, because the first statement is essentially the filter at the higher level, child of A's DEBUG level logging is still appearing in my log files and my second statement is effectively redundant

Anybody have any ideas how I can accomplish what I need?

We're using seam as our web framework and I was just wondering how to get more information on what types of content the Seam resource servlet covers?

Looking at the seam docs it mentions captcha and remoting, etc. and I took a look at the seam source and saw the image resources, etc.
But what I really want is a full list of the resources that the servlet recognises?

For example, within our framewok we have some generated html pages that reside under our /docs folder of our project.
We've configured the seam resource servlet to :-

Now when we redirect to the url seam/resource/document/[filename].html , instead of the html pages being served as html and thus the browser displaying the page as html, it's serving the .html file as a file and thus the user is asked whether they want to save or open the document.

I get that the html files are in the wrong place but because I don't know all the resource servlets mappings, I can't work out where these html pages should sit?
Any help would be appreciated.

PS. The need to have the files served by the resource servlet is pretty strict for reasons I won't outline here, so just suggesting that we move the files elsewhere is not a solution, I'd like a bit more information regarding the seam resource servlet and why we shouldn't use it if this is what you suggest.

I'm using richfaces 3.0.1 or very close to that in conjunction with seam
I have a problem with a suggestionbox component not seeming to have a selected value when an action event is called on the backing bean.
The list gets populated fine from the called suggestionAction method on the backing bean, so I see the list, can select a value and it gets populated back into the inputText component.
But the problem is when the setPropertyActionListener fires and calls the method on the bean the passed value to the method is ALWAYS null.

In my xhtml :-

I tried removing the usingSuggestObjects="true" bit and that made no difference either.
When I select a choice, the selectedAddress method on the backing bean gets called but the passed value is ALWAYS null.
What am I doing wrong so the selected object isn't getting passed back to the backing bean?
Here's the backing bean code :-

ps. I know its tempting to say : 'upgrade to latest rich faces version' as a fix all solution to this, but its not currently possible in our environment.
But if someone knows there's a known issue with 3.0.x of rich faces and above then please post where the issue is so I can try and justify the upgrade with the bosses.
