Hi,
Check whether your tomcat service is running or not in services.msc

Hi,

i want to access https://localhost:8443/

According to the documentation there are 3 steps

1) Create a keystore using Java
2) Configure Tomcat to use the keystore
3)Restart Tomcat and run https://localhost:8443/

I did all the three steps.

After that i am trying https://localhost:8443/ but when i try this i am getting the error like "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page https://localhost:8443

Please tell me the steps how to acess.

I am using Tomcat 6.

Thanks in advance.

I want to use HTTPS for my jsp page only, other part of application just uses HTTP, but it seems not to work.

the application is working if I use http://localhost:8086/Secu
and also work with https://localhost:8443/Secu.

the following is the part of configuration in web.xml

<security-constraint>
<web-resource-collection>
<web-resource-name>securedpp</web-resource-name>
<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
</web-resource-collection>
<user-data-constraint>
<transport-guarantee>Confidential</transport-guarantee>
</user-data-constraint>
</security-constraint>

if any body knows the solution Please suggest me its very urgent.

Thanks in advance
