I downloaded the J2EE sdk from the sun website and everytime I start it I get this message in domain console window:

Starting Domain domain1, please wait.
Log redirected to C:\Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\logs\server.log.
Domain domain1 failed to startup. Please check the server log for more details.
CLI156 Could not start the domain domain1.

When I check the server log I get the following messages:

I followed the instructions and set J2EE_HOME variable and I set path to point to bin of the install directory. Can someone please give me some insight?

I have a database with over 1000 entries. I would like to know how can I break up the entries
so I can display a 100 per page as supposed to displaying the whole record set one page? So if a user gets pulls up the database the first page will display 1-100 and if an icon or link is clicked it will go to 101-200 etc. How can I do this using jsp?

I have a question about forms. Lets say i'm on a page with a form and I click to the next page. If I click back to the original page with the form, all of the data that I typed is still visible. How can clear this data so that if a user clicks on the browser's back button the data on the form will be erased? Also is there a way to disable the browser's back button?
I am using JSP to display entries from an MS Access database. The database is configured to delete entries and update entries.
For whatever reason when users enter data into the database the data that is recently entered is displayed in the middle of the table when outputted by the jsp. When I look in the actual database, the most recently data is at the end of the table where it should be.
Has anyone ever experienced this type of problem using access as a back end? If so how did you fix this type of error? Should I use another database besides access?

does a random number generator function exist in XML?
Chris thanks but, this is the method to output the value. I need the jsp method to store a value in a hidden field so that a javascript function can process that value.
