I've been working with Java for 5 years+ now. My work requires me to use java but not like developer. We basically help resolve issues by looking at java logs/code and tune java performances.
After working for a few years, I feel my java knowledge has not been improved deeply even i've been exposed to different code. I am eager to get myself to a different level. I think Java certifications are a good start. I do have some questions though, any suggestions are welcome.
1. For Oracle Java EE certification, I don't see JEE 6 versions on Oracle website. There are only JEE5 Web component, JEE5 Web service, and JEE5 Biz Component. However, JEE 6 does appear in Master and Expert level. Am I missing anything? or Oracle only provides professional level exams for JEE5?
2. JEE5 Web component, JEE5 Web service, and JEE5 Biz Component, among these 3, which one is easier to take. I've seen a lot of posts saying that Web Service is difficult and not covered in any single study guide. Will web component be a good start for JEE certifications?
